Ear Clip type head worn mic
A mic rigged to be worn over the ear. Once our performer let’s their hair down, the mic is practically hidden from sight.

It drives me a little nuts when performers have mics taped to their cheeks. The mic head ends up looking like a wart; not flattering. I much prefer to hide the mic up in the hair line or behind the ear. The hair line is best, especially when the performers are wearing wig caps and wigs.

Head-worn microphones. Click on this link for a rather dated lesson in rigging mics to be worn by performers in musicals. This page was from when I was teaching in high school. Hence the young models and techniques. I hope to update these pages soon.
